March Currently

Does it ever amaze you that February even exists?  It seems like January takes FOREVER to get through, especially after Christmas.  Who came up with putting the longest month of the year after a month where all you do is shop, spend, and have some fun?  Then, you hit February and it is like a sprint.  There's Black History Month, Heart Month, Dental Health Month, Groundhog Day, Mardi Gras, Valentine's Day, and Presidents' Day.  Plus, all those other unknown holidays like Kite Flying Day and Cherry Pie Day.  You cram as much as possible into 28 days and before you know it you are to March.  And do you know what's in March?  Farley's Currently!!!

Alright, so click on the Oh' Boy Fourth Grade picture to go visit Farley's link up.  Remember her rule of three - comment on the two people right before you and the first person after you.  Honestly, I usually comment on more than that because I love reading all of the facts.  Also, pay close attention to the last question.  You have to come up with something you like, love, and hate that start with the first letter of your name.  That adds just a fun to it.

Listening
I have fallen in love with Parenthood.  I started watching it on Netflix because I haven't seen any of the episodes, so I am trying to catch up now.  It was recommended to me at Christmas and I'm just now getting to it.  I love how real it is and how there are kids mixed into the show.  I just think it adds an extra dimension.

Loving
March is my favorite month of the year, well besides December.  My birthday is in March, Field Day is in March, and Spring Break starts in March.  Also, I have a new blogging friend that's making me birthday cupcake clip art which you will see next week.  To top it off, I won part (N-Z) of Ashley Hughes' alphabet clip art packet which is incredible, and I found out that I got one of the March freebie spots in the TPT newsletter.  Seriously!!!  I couldn't have a better month to love!!!  Oh, by the way, if you click on the book report picture or the clip art packet it will take you to where you can get them.  I am loving me some Ashley Hughes clip art!

Thinking -
I have started three new packets which I can't wait to see completed.  Well, technically I see them completed, but they are still in my mind, not on paper.  So, my goal this weekend is to knock them out.  I'm working on a spring printable packet, an adjective (comparative/superlative) center and printable packet, and I'm working on my first grade summer packet.  I cannot wait for you to see what I have cooked up and at least two pages of each will be free in the previews, so stay tuned.

Wanting -
I'd love to go get breakfast, but it's cold and I have packets to work on, so I'm hoping my sweet hubby will volunteer soon to go get us something to eat, especially since I braved Golden Corral for him last week (insert wicked grin).

Needing -
I am coming off of a winter break and I feel like I already need another one.  I have so many things in mind that I need to do and get knocked out.  Unfortunately, I guess part of getting older is realizing you can't actually do it all even though you think you can, so I've decided if I had extra time I could.

Like: I heart new frames.  I think I have over 200 different frames to use for my creations.
Love: Oh, friend, fonts are amazing!!!!  Right now, my favs are Cara Carroll's fonts.
Hate: The feeling of failing.  I think that feeling though is what pushes me to work harder.
